As well as Green & Tidy’s client base, we’ll also take on all staff members, equipment and facilities, including the Green & Tidy depot in Moulsford, Oxfordshire. The additional infrastructure will enable us to expand our geographical reach and expertise in a range of grounds care solutions and services, including gritting, grounds maintenance, invasive weed removal, tree works and soft landscaping.

Green & Tidy will continue to trade under its own name across Oxford, Milton Keynes and the wider Thames Valley region, under their well-established brand, which has built up a reputation for providing quality grounds and tree care since 1987.  It will move under the our group brand from November 2021.

As part of our strategy to be market leaders nationwide, we wanted to bring in a company that already works to an incredible standard that matches that of Grounds Care Group. As such, we’re excited to expand into the Thames Valley region with the news of our acquisition of Green & Tidy Landscapes.

How Are We Adapting How We Work During The Coronavirus Outbreak?

Our teams are still working hard to provide clients across The South East with grounds maintenance services and solutions, continuing to maintain your external spaces to take away any unnecessary landscaping and grounds care stresses during this challenging time.

To continue to provide our services, however, we have had to make a few changes in order to adhere to all of the latest Government guidelines and ensure the safety of our clients and colleagues during this period. Some of these changes are as follows:

Maintaining Social Distancing – Whilst our teams would previously work together to collaborate on projects, we have now taken steps to ensure that we are only providing ‘one-man teams’. This means that employees will no longer be commuting together in close proximity within vehicles, or coming into contact with one another whilst on the job.

Minimising Cross Contamination – Not only does working as individuals reduce the risk of colleagues coming into close contact with one another, but it also minimises any cross-contamination from shared equipment.

Maintaining High Standards Of Hygiene – All of our members of staff will be provided with adequate PPE and hand sanitising products, to ensure that they are minimising the risk of any germs being spread. Gloves will be worn when appropriate and any surfaces that we have touched will be disinfected before and afterwards.

Minimising Client Contact – We will no longer be meeting with clients face to face and request that steps are taken, when we arrive on-site, to avoid any unnecessary close proximity between clients and our team. We will instead, where possible, be contacting clients over the phone to discuss any projects or alternatively clients are able to login to our live reporting system. We will also be taking payments online or over the phone, no cash transactions will be accepted during this time.
