Our Wormery Installation Services
Essentially, a wormery consists of usually two or more compartments, one lower collection sump which will collect the liquid and the upper composting section which is where the waste is put in and the worms work. The worms are commonly known as brandling, manure, red or tiger worms and thrive in decaying organic matters.
What Can You Compost?
You’ll be surprised that you are able to compost most kitchen and garden waste in your wormery including:
Raw vegetables, except for onions, leeks and garlic which can only be composted if cooked first
